Rojhelat Website attacked by the Turks

ROJHELAT, Kurdish Observer, — Our website was attacked by a number of fascists Turks who seems to have been frustrated by our work which is nothing more than the projection of the reality of the oppression of Kurdish people in the hands of the occupying powers of Kurdistan. The hackers had put the Turkish flag and Turkish soldiers wielding bayonet, the picture is reminiscent of the old Turkish dictum which says: “there is no Kurdish problem, wherever there is a Turkish bayonet”.

The Turkish mentality which regards the Kurds as ‘Mountain Turk’, and has kept the slogan of “there is no Kurdish problem, wherever there is a Turkish bayonet” for almost a century, the mindset which claims: “to be Kurdish is, as being Turkish had been a century earlier, to be primitive rustic or, worse”, the mentality that holds: “ the Kurds do not have the face of human beings and should be migrated to Africa to join half-human half-animal. They can learn by asking their fellows, the Armenians, that the Turks are very patient, but when angry no one can stand in their way”….. This mindset, seems to have been disturbed by the projection of their tremendous crimes they have committed and keep committing against the Kurds.

The concept which ban the use of Kurdish language in the public and imprisons more than 3,000 Kurdish children charging them with the ludicrous charge of ‘terrorism’, the approach which has incarcerated almost 2,000 democratically elected Kurdish politicians and razed to the ground 4,000 Kurdish villages, is not prepared to see the Kurdish free media projecting the plight of the Kurdish people, reflecting the degree of the crimes they committed against humanity.

The mindset which says “there is one language, one flag, one identity in this country; whoever is not happy can leave”, seems to have been frustrated by the reflection of the oppression Kurdish people. Their frustration went beyond limits and reached the level of attacking the Kurdish free media, our website, hacking it and putting Turkish flag with Turkish soldiers holding their old “bayonet”.

We do apologies for the inconvenience caused by the break in our website and also remind the attackers that their methods have not yielded anything but to consolidate the Kurdish struggle. We do resume our work better than before by providing a window to the plight of Kurdish people and the crimes the occupying power of Kurdistan keep committing against humanity.
