PJAK held a seminar on political situation of Rojhelat and Iran

Last Saturday, 25th February, the Free Life Party of Kurdistan (PJAK) held a seminar in Stockholm, Sweden. The seminar was held for PJAK’s co-chair, Siamand Moini, who provided an analysis of the latest development in the Middle East, with a focus on Rojhelat and Iran.

Moini claimed that solving the Kurdish question will bring peace to the Middle East which in turn leads to the solution of many other crises that have plagued this region. He said that his party is of opinion that Democratic Confederalism is the best solution for the Kurdish question.

During his talk PJAK co-chair said: “For a democratic society and a peaceful solution to prevail in Rojhelat and Iran we prefer Democratic Confederalism. To accomplish this, all ethnicities and peoples of Iran should struggle and fight together. The Islamic Republic of Iran is a part of the crises in the Middle East. The Iranian regime, on the one side, is running a dictatorship over all ethnic and religious groups inside Iran and, on the other side, is pushing the crisis out of Iran’s borders, in order to create problems for other countries such as Syria, Iraq and Yemen. The peoples of Iran should stand together and struggle against the dictatorship of this regime, and by creating a democratic society don’t let the regime to decide on their destiny anymore.”

The co-chair of PJAK, Moini, focused on the role of nation-states in the region and the world crisis adding: “Nation-states cannot solve any problem of society and cannot bring freedom for the people of this region. Nation-states divide societies and that makes the latter weaker which causes them to be run by dictators. Democratic Nation is the only alternative to Nation-State.”
