The Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) and the police forces across the borders of Makû, Xoy, Selmas and Ûrmiye have created dozens of new military bases. The plan is militarization of the border and control over the people, local residents say.
According to local sources, after the meeting between the IRGC commander and governor of Makû, operational phase in Selmas, Xoy and Ûrmiye has intensified security measures at the borders.
Also in other regions such as Serdaşt, Mehabad, Sine, Merîwan, Karzan function in Ilam, Pawe and some other regions in Eastern Kurdistan (Rojhelat), military movements are carried out by government forces.
Creation of the bases in these areas takes place while people has been attacked for unreal accusations by the Islamic militants of Iran and dozens of people have been killed as a result of these actions.
Kurdish sources reported that yesterday evening the 9th of March, a Kolber from Merîwan named Fereydun Lotfullahi from the village of ”Zowiran of Serşêw functions” were shot by the Iran’s border regiment forces and lost his life.
”The job that we do is carrying a few bags of tea or rice from border to border, to be able to make enough money for our daily needs”, says one of the Kolbres.
Kurdistan issue analysts said that the massacre on the Kurdish people is not carried out only by Islamic Republic of Iran because the Iranian Media’s of regime opposition are silent about it, and this silence could be fatal.
