Several days ago, a Kurdish Yarsan was killed and another severely injured in attack by Iranian security forces in Dalaho region in Kermashan province, in suspicion of carrying smuggled goods.

According to the local sources, Hishmet Behluli, a resident from one of the villages of Dalaho region in province of Kermashan, was shot dead in the border region of Bemo. Also, another Kurdish Kolber was severely injured and was transferred to a hospital.

In another incident, several days ago Iranian security forces attacked Nasih Shehbazi, a Kurdish Kolber (back carrier) from city of Seqiz in order to seize his goods he was carrying, but people hampered security forces. As the result of shooting by security forces, Shehbazi was severely injured and was transferred to the hospital of Seqiz.

Iranian security forces systematically attack Kurdish Kolbers (back carrier) and tradesmen in border areas of eastern Kurdistan. Every year hundreds of Kurdish Kolbers are being killed or injured by Iranian security forces. Many human rights organizations and UN Special Rapporteur for human rights in Iran Ahmed Shaheed harshly condemned extrajudicial killings of Kurdish Kolbers and tradesmen (back carriers) in border areas of Eastern Kurdistan by Iranian security forces.
