IRGC special war in East Kurdistan

NEWSDESK, — The social and cultural division of Iranian Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has opened special exhibitions in Shino and Serdesht cities, local sources said, entitled as “ethnic divergence” in a bid to dilute the social and national values of Kurdish people in East Kurdistan.

According to the official website of IRGC, Jawad Musazade a Revolution Guard, has pointed to the exhibitions, as a guide to “open the eyes of people” especially the Kurdish youth and raise their consciousness in the so-called “Basij Week”.

Basij means “the mobilised” and is the state militia sub-division of IRGC comprised of the youth responsible for the much of the ill-doings of Islamic Republic in both national and international spheres.

In the exhibition organised in Serdesht and Shino in the “Basij Week”, posters of the Kurdish political parties and their national agendas are depicted in a contemptuous way.

It should be noted that the Islamic Republic of Iran has orchestrated a multifaceted special war in East Kurdistan to dilute and debase the social and national values of the Kurds while the Basij militias are deified.

One dimension of the regime special war is the induced drug proliferation and its consumption in East Kurdistan.  The regime has been the main derive behind the drug distributions.

The regime’s agents are actively working among the Kurdish youth to push them toward this industry and making them drug addicts in order to make the Kurdish society manageable.

Another dimension of the regime special war is to encourage and force the Kurdish youths to enlist in the Basij militia and the other pro-state institutions taking up arms against the Kurdish liberation movement.

The current exhibitions organised in Serdesht and Shino cities are held with the view of deification of Basij militia encouraging the youth to enlist in such groups responsible for the perpetuation of Iranian colonial rule in East Kurdistan.
