HPG claims responsibility for Iran-Turkey pipeline explosion

HPGBAHDINAN, — In a written statement the People’s Defence Forces (HPG) claimed responsibility for the explosion of the gas pipeline between Iran and Turkey.
In the statement published by the HPG’s Press and Communication Centre, it was announced that the gas pipeline near the town of Agri Bayizid was exploded by the Kurdish guerrillas.
“At 02:10 am on 28th June, our guerrilla forces exploded the gas pipeline between Iran and Turkey passing through the villages of Mezra and Mangeseri in town of Agri Bayizid,” outlined the HPG statement pointing that, “To prevent injury to the local people, its was not set on fire, but huge blow was stroke upon the pipeline.”
