SERNEX, — Turkish soldiers attacked the “Vigil for Justice for Roboski” who were changing the slogan of “We haven’t forgotten Roboski and won’t let it be forgotten”.The soldiers attacked the march using pressurised water canon to disperse the mass joining the march and preventing from getting larger.
The march was organised and led by Democratic Society Congress (DTK) and joined by representatives of many political parties and nongovernmental organizations.
DTK Co-chair Aysel Tugluk, ESP (Socialist Party of the Oppressed) Chairperson Figen Yuksekdag, representatives of KESK, IHD, TMMOB and Peace Mothers Initiative also joined the march, despite the prevention of military forces who for a long time didn’t allow the mass into the village of Roboski upon the instruction by governor’s office
