EAST KURDISTAM, — The followers of Yari religion are broadly discriminated by the Iranian Authorities, HRA News Agency reported.
Yari religion is one of the main and indigenous religions of Kurdish people. The followers of Yari religion are called Yarsan. The religion has been systematically banned by the Iranian regime.
Yarsan people have prevented from holding their ceremony. Their books and text of their religion have been taken and have been attempted to destroy by the government.
A remain temple named Seead Ferox temple located in Jelalondi district of Kirmashan was ruined by the government last year.
It has been sated that Yarsans have endeavoured to rebuild the temple, however, they have been prohibited by the Intelligent Service and they were warned not to rebuild it.
In conjunction to this, three of Yari followers named Muhammad Akberi, Xeyrulla Heqjoban and Seead Ferhad Zolnori were arrested by the Iranian Intelligent Service on 20th November.
It was stated that their family has been to the office of Intelligent service several times to find about their situation, however, they are refused any information by the prison officials.
