NEWSDESK, — According to the latest correspondence Turkish police has raided number of houses in Cizre and Uludere, districts of Şırnak, and detained a Kurdish citizen with nine children, including 13-year-old A.K.A. in the early morning today.
Based on the accusations of “Taking part in the demonstrations” and “Making propaganda for the organization,” the house searches and raids are still continuing and more detainments are expected.
Meanwhile, a high school student, 17-year-old O.P., was taken into custody by police from his school in the Malazgirt District of Muş, this morning. No information is obtained about the reason of his arrests, yet.
The Silopi Night Court ordered five more children to be jailed last night, in addition to three others who were sent to the prison yesterday in the Şırnak’s district Silopi.
These children with 60-year-old Nahide Ormanli, a member of Peace Mother Initiative, were detained by police’ house raids two days ago on the grounds that “Participating in protest demonstrations” and “Making propaganda for the organization.”
Fourteen-year-old M.L, E. A and Y. S. are among the jailed children.
