Iran seeks to set Kurds against one another

SEQIZ, East of Kurdistan, — By rewarding certain pro-government Kurds and setting them against the local Kurds, Iran seeks to sow the seeds of enmity among the Kurds.

Seqiz’s citizens like many other Kurds have been suffering from this policy. Regime’s collaborators make troubles for the local people and put them under social and economical pressures. For instance, many workers who bring goods from the south to the east of Kurdistan have been killed by regime’s collaborators.

They are also in charge of making obstacles for the promotion of Kurdish culture. They treat the Kurds with hints of mockery to their language and costumes, or alienate them from their identity.

Regime has hired some Kurdish collaborators and uses them to practice its anti-Kurdish policies in east of Kurdistan. One of these collaborators is originally from Kirmashan undertaking his duty in the city of Seqiz. His name is Miran Mohemedi, and he has wreaked havoc upon the residents of Seqiz.

He is working in the way between the 2 Kurdish cities of Seqiz and Meriwan. According to local sources, every day he controls and pressurise the people intensely, arrest them or even kill them. Most of his targets are among poor people such as workers and porters.
