Iran: Two people executed in Kirmashan

edam-mala-amKIRMASHAN, — Two prisoners were executed in Kirmashan today morning in the public. The continuous executions of people in Iran have led the Iranian regime to be called as the “Republic of Gallows” by some commentators.

According to ISNA news, two people were executed today at 6.30 am in the public at Azadi Square in Kirmashan city.

The charged against them is reported to be the new term of “violation of virtue”.

According to statistic provided by the Human Rights organisations, 19 people have been executed in the last week, 7 of the executions carried out in the public.

Adding these cases, 239 people have been executed in Iran in 2011.
