KARAJ, Iran, — Political prisoners of Rajai-Shaher Detention have entered 7th day of their hunger strike and their health conditions are reported to be critical.
A number of political prisoners held in Karaj fearsome detention staged a hunger strike on Sunday 22nd May to protest against; mistreatments of political prisoners, state’s escalating pressure on their family, and lack of communication with the outside world.
One week has passed since the beginning of the hunger strike and a number of sources have reported their heath condition to be at critical stage urging attention.
It’s reported that Isa Saharkhiz and Medhi Mehmodyan suffered from significant weight loss and a teacher Resul Bodaqi has been taken to a solitary confinement in Goherdesht detention in Karaj.
