SEQIZ, –Sherko Mearfi is at the imminent risk of execution. He could be executed any time. The Human Rights Watch called upon Iran to halt his execution planned today 1st May.
Iranian Judiciary declared earlier that the execution of Sherko is scheduled for 1st May. Concerns have been raisin since nothing is given out in regard to his execution.
In a letter to the Iranian officials the Human Rights Watch urged for the suspension of his execution and said that Sherko was trialled in an unfair and biased court.
The organisation’s deputy for the Middle East and the North Africa, Joe Stork said they are considerably concerned about the unknown situation of Sherko Mearfi and urged the Iranian authority to halt his execution and notify the public about his situation.
