SINE, East Kurdistan, — Five worker-activists were captured in the province of Sine in the wake of Workers International Day, local sources said.
Xalib Huseni, Xalid Huseni, and Yedullah Qutbi the members of Coordination of Assistance to Workers Institutions, were arrested on Saturday by Sine Intelligence Service and taken for investigation.
Wefa Qaderi another member of Coordination of Assistance to Workers Institutions was summoned by Sine Intelligence Service on Sunday.
Sediq Kerimi and Sherif Saedpena the leading members of the Workers Free Unions, who refused to sign the order of not participating the International Workers Day, were arrested by the Intelligent Units.
Mukryan News Agency also mentioned about the seizure of several workers activists in the city Seqiz in the wake of International Workers Day. Husen Muradi, Sediq Mohammedi, Bextiyar Meerofi, and Ali Huseni were arrested in Seqiz.
