Iranian Supreme Court upholds Kurdish activist’s death sentence:

MEHABAD, Eastern Kurdistan–Ever since the Islamic regime imposed its Sharia law a “codified Islamic law” following the 1979 revolution, Iranian nations particularly Kurds experienced worsted treatment. Islamic regime constantly violated Human Rights convention and International treaties despite the International protest and condemnation against the violation of Iranian nation’s rights and abuse of power by the Islamic regime.

Kurds are one of the Iranian nations whom have been oppressed and suppressed under the regimes brutal and discriminatory policies.

A Kurdish political and Human Rights activist (Habbibullah Gulpari poor) was sentenced to death by the Islamic revolutionary court in Mehabad by virtue of Article 186 and 190 of the Iranian constitution.

Mr Gulparipoor was tortured brutally by the Iranian authorities and in protest to the inhuman treatment he had; he went on Hunger strike for few weeks.

According to the Mukryan News Agency, Mr Habbibulas appeal to the Iranian supreme Court was rejected last week and his death sentence was upheld by the Supreme Court.

There are 18 Kurdish political, Human Rights and civil rights activists on death row and the death sentence might be performed at any time.
