Mass protests today in Rojhelat (East Kurdistan) cities followed the killing of two kolbers, Qadir Behrami (41) and Heyder Fereci (21) in Bane yesterday. Thousands gathered in front of Iranian government buildings and military garrisons in various cities in Rojhelat. (ANF reported)
The East Kurdistan Democratic and Free Society (KODAR) called for continuous action against the Iranian regime and said to public: “We support the demands of the people of Bane, Serdeşt and Merîwan, and we ask everyone to support people’s resistance in Rojhelat.”
In response to KODAR’s statement and in solidarity with people of Rojhelat, YRK (The East Kurdistan Defense Units) fighters attacked an Iranian military outpost in Bane. YRK sources reported 2 Iranian forces killed and 2 wounded.
