ROJHELAT, CIWANRO ─ A young man from Ciwanro in Rojhelat (East Kurdistan) was arrested and taken to an unknown location by agents of the regime.
A local source informed Firat News Agency that 26-year-old Yasir Nûrî, on 6 July, had been arrested by agents of the regime’s Ministry of Intelligence.
The same source said intelligence officers had transferred Yasir to an unknown location, and his family are attempting to meet with their son.
According to the report, the reason of arresting Yasir is not clear yet, but is likely to be for political reasons.
Recently, there has been a wave of arrests in Rojhelat. Iran’s regime, by arresting and detaining young people, is trying to silence its youth.
