Bane-Merîwan path to Helebce by bike

Along With arrives commemoration of the chemical bombardment of Halabce (Halabja), people respected the victims of this city around the world.

In commemoration of Halabce event, patriots and hikers from Eastern Kurdistan (Rojhelat) walking and cycling just left distance of the 105 km behind to get to this city.

A news resource of Eastern Kurdistan (Rojhelat) stated: about two days ago a group of hikers called Arbaba, for the respect of the chemical bombardment victims of Helebce and Sardasht walked a distance from the city of Bane and Merîwan.

The Kurdish hikers were partaking this activity to join the ceremony of the chemical bombardment of Halabja.

Coincide with this, a couple (wife and husband) from Merîwan who called Sirwe Amini and Salah Mejidpour to get to Halabce with a duet cycle left too.

The above Salah Majidpour has lost his eyes and his fingers due to the explosion of mines planted the past few years in Rojhelat and also he has received eighteen international awards.

On Tuesday, the 16th of March 1988, a collapsed regime of Saddam Hussein bombarded the Halabce city and the area around it with combat aircraft so that 5000 people were killed and 7 to 10 thousand people who were mostly civilians were injured and later on lost their lives. In between them there was a large number of women.
