Six political prisoners on death row have been transferred to an unknown location, including Saman Nasim

Breaking from Urmiye Prison: Six political prisoners on death row have been transferred to an unknown location, including Saman Nasim.

According to the reports received by the Kurdistan Human Rights Network from a source inside the Urmiye prison, on the 18th February 2015 stated that special guards entered division 12, where political prisoners are held and took six political prisoners.

Five Kurdish political prisoners including:

Saman Nasim
Sirwan Nejawi
Ibrahim Isapoor
Ali Ashari and his brother
Habib Afshari

Also, including one Azeri political prisoner who is follower of Yarsan religion – and also sentenced to death Yunes Aghayan.

All six political prisoners were taken from the prison to an unknown location. The inside source also told the Kurdistan Human Rights Network that the prisoners their hands and feet tied with handcuffed and foot-cuffed and were blindfolded before they were taken.Also The phone inside the prison has broken and the security situation is at very high risk.

All six political prisoners were sentenced to death and have most likely been taken to be executed.
