Women’s existence relies on their organization and unity

Experts of Jineology (women sciences) in Rojhelat (East Kurdistan) issued a statement condemning the violence against women on the anniversary on the 25th of November, asked all Kurdish women to fight for their freedom. The statement condemns violence against women in Iran and groups such as ISIS terrorists.

The statement refers to the actions taken by the patriarchal system that impose slavery on women, says these measures that are performed on the basis eliminate women’s identity and sovereignty over their mind, comes from the ancient patriarchal civilization and the current capitalist system.

The invasion of the gender-oriented system threatens women from any class and difference. So far as can be seen, examples of it are present in the Middle East and especially Kurdistan.

In this statement, expert emphasized that the representatives of this mentality not be restricted only to the ISIS terrorists because we always see the Iranian regime’s policies against women such as hanging, stoning and acid throwing. This regime does not hesitate to suppress the liberation of the soul from any act of inhumanity.

The authors of the statement adding that “women should increase their awareness, organize and unity to protect their existence. The women resistance of guerrilla especially in Rojava have broken the chains of women slavery during the history”.

KCRKCR: Violence against women is attack on humanity, nature and freedom

On the other hand, KCR (Youth Movement of Eastern Kurdistan) issued a statement “women who lived like goddesses about five thousand years ago, now they are owned by men as women at home, two tasks have been assigned to them: childbirth and serve the house and the man. This means that the patriarchal mentality rule over during thousands of years”.

KCR states: “Islamic Republic of Iran is one of the most backward states in the world that makes use of all forms of violence against society particularly women and youth in the name of religion”.

“Murder, torture, rape and execution know as the characteristics of this occupying system that most victims being among women and youth. Iranian government facilitated the spread of drugs, unemployment and prostitution among young women as political pressure against society” KCR movement notes.

KCR adds: “Also stoned, aggression, threats, intimidation, sexual humiliation in prisons, rape before death, honor killings, bigamy, prostitution is widespread as concubine, unjust laws of inheritance and witness, early marriage, unilateral right to divorce for men, childcare rules after divorce, inequality in wages between men and women and forcible hijab are such violence’s that imposes on women by the regime”.

In the statement Youth Movement of Eastern Kurdistan condemns the execution of Reyhane Jabari and acid throwing in city of Esfahan over the name of Islamic Hijab says “Iranian women are not only deprived of equal rights of cultural, political and civil but they also don’t have the right to defend their self as the crime of Reyhane was only protecting her dignity and life”.
