Attack on Kurdish Kolbers by the Iranian regime is continued. Subsequently gunfire by the Iranian military, two Kurdish kolbers from Serdesht lost their lives and some other fellow Kurds from Meriwan was also badly injured by the Iranian military and 3 other Kolbers from Serdesht were also injured.
Wednesday on 25th of December, Iranian military in the close areas of Serdesht opened fire on a few Kurdish Kolbers and Kurdish Workers and a Kolber named Wahed Tofiqi close to the town Serdesht, were hit by Iranian military and lost his life.
During the same attack by the Iranian military on Kurdish Kolbers, it was known later that 2 Kurdish Kolbers were killed and 3 others were injured. But until now the name of the other Kolbers that were killed along with Wahed Tofiqi is still not known.
In another place the Iranian military on 27th of December open fire on a car of a Kurdish fellow men from the city of Meriwan and because the car flipped over, the driver named Aryan were seriously injured.
Meanwhile, Iranian border guards have shot to Aryan under the pretext of carrying contraband, while he was not carrying any goods. He just had to escape for fear of firing up the troops.
It is worth to be mentioned that the armed Iranian military, that they open fire on Kurdish fellow men because they believe that they carry illegal things, because of this they open fire on the Kurdish workers close to the borders of Eastern Kurdistan, and for years the Kurdish people have been killed and injured because of this by the Iranian regime.
Serdesht borders are seen as shambles of Kurdish Kolbers who have been forced to turn to dangerous jobs just to feed their families. Killing of Kurdish Kolbers is done intentionally by the Iran’s border troops.
In his recent report to the UN General Assembly, UN Special Rapporteur on Iran Ahmed Shaheed highlighted the “indiscriminate killings of Kolbers in violation of the domestic laws and international obligations of Iran.”
