Representative of the City of Serdesht and Piranshar filed a complaint in Parliament

The representatives of Serdesht and Piranshar filed a complaint against irresponsibility of the Iranian regime towards primary school students whom were injured as a result of the landmine explosion in the village of Shinawe. In addition, Mr Resul Xizri asked government official to commence a process to clean the Cities from the landmines.

According to a report from IRNA, in the public apron stage of assembly Dr Xizri asserted that ‘despite that 26 years has passed since the chemical bombardments of the city of Serdesht, disables are still confronted a lot of problems’.

While criticizing the absence of demining practical procedures, Dr Xizri stated that although 26 years passed; people still the victim of the landmines and the purgation of the land from the mines have not yet came to end.

He alleged that they are expecting the case of demining be under the consideration of the ministry of Interior and they need to have a plan for these areas.

With regards to the primary School students of the Shin Abad village, Xizri said ‘despite promises of the treatment costs for the injured students of Shinawe, none of the students have received any payment for their hospital costs’.

This is while that their families are unable to sustain the cost of the hospital and thus the students have not had any medical treatments’.
The representative of Serdesht and Piranshar has also criticized the lack of progress of unfinished projects and approved plans of 1392 and said ‘a penny has not been allocated to the national projects of 1392 in Kurdish cities and this leads to problems’.

Before Dr Xizri, there were other representatives who criticized the regime for the inadequacy of funds allocated to the Eastern Kurdistan projects.
