Self-immolation of a Yarsan follower

Another Yarsan follower set himself on fire and died in front of the Iranian Parliament yesterday, report said.

According to Human Right Activists in Iran a Yarsan follower aged 22 year, named Mohammed Ghanbari, from Qazvin, burned himself in front of parliament.

The act was in protest of the state’s negligence of this religion and the strict control over its followers. As a result of the continuous restriction on them two Yarsan followers set themselves on fire in front of the governor of Hamadan city in 1st and 5th June 2013.

The victim was transferred to the Tehran Motahari Hospital by the security forces of the parliament. Then he was hospitalized under strict security to avoid any visits and information leaking out but he lost his life.
