ANF — In eastern Kurdistan, city of Sine (Sanandaj) women celebrated the birthday of leader of Kurd “Abdullah Ocalan” and congratulated this day to Kurdish nation and especially women.
On 4th April, the birthday of leader of Kurdish nation “Abdullah Ocalan” a group of women activists and mothers of peace in Sine (Sanandaj) gathered together and celebrated this day with the slogan of “4th of April is the birthday of our nation”. In this celebration they read the biography of “Abdullah Ocalan”, poem and chanted.
Mothers of peace and women activists by issuing a statement announced: ” 4th of April is the day of fighting the patriarchy, resistance and breaking the traditional taboos. In this day the bright sun of Kurdistan, shines the Mesopotamia. Ocalan also showed all dictators that they never be able to perform assimilation policy in Kurdistan.”
They ended the celebration by chanting slogans like “Long live leader Ocalan”, “Viva women of east Kurdistan”, “Down with colonization and slavery”.
