NEWSDESK, — Mines fields marking off the pseudo-borders of Kurdistan are causing more casualties despite the killing and wounding of hundreds in the past.
Most of those mines had been planted during the Iran and Iraqi war which have not been dismantled despite the passing of decades since the end of the war.
Mine explosions on the pseudo-borders of Kurdistan on Haci Omeran district wounded three brothers named as Mesud, Seed and Germiyan residents of South Kurdistan.
The three brothers were returning from East Kurdistan where they met their brother who is arrested by Iranian authorities and sentenced to death. Two of them were seriously wounded while the other one lost his leg when the mine exploded.
