SHAHO, — Shaho Mountains came under artillery attacks of Iranian Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) for duration of two hours, local sources said, causing fires lasting all night long.
The IRGC has been positioning troops and ammunitions along the mountain slopes of Shako ranges for the last few days. They started shelling of the villages of Tengiwer, Palingan, Yuzeran on yesterday for duration of two hours.
The local sources also announced that the personnel of IRGC had in the last few days warned the local people to avoid going to the mountain hills or they would fire on them.
The rationale for the shelling of Shaho Mountains according to the Iranian Revolution Guards is the presence of Kurdish guerrillas, while the political analysts believe that such kinds of aggression is to threaten and terrorise the local people.
