146 Kurdish kolbers killed in 2012

SERDESHT, — Two more Kurdish kolbers were killed by the Iranian militaries last night, raising the death toll of the kolbers to 146 persons in this year.

Iranian militaries fired on a bunch of kolbers last night on the borders to Serdesht city, local sources said, killing two of them on the spot.

Shooting and killing of Kurdish kolbers by the Iranian and Turkish militaries have become miserable phenomena in Kurdistan.

Kolbers are those workers ferrying goods on their backs across the borders selling them in black markets. The goods they trade include fuel, clothes, teas and sugars.

Hundreds of Kolbers are killed or wounded each year by direct shot of Iranian militaries that have not even shown mercy for the mules and horses used by the kolbers.

According to a report published by NNS-Roj news outlet, the Iranian militaries have killed at least 800 mules and horses of the kolbers on this year.
