AGRI, — An explosion on gas pipeline flowing from Iran to Turkey which caused death of 28 Turkish soldiers, led Iran to stop the flow of gas, local sources said.
An explosion occurred at Turkeli village of Agri, last night at around 23:00 with local time on gas pipeline, report said, while a military convoy was passing there by.
28 Turkish soldiers are said to have been killed by the explosion and the gas flow from Iran to Turkey is stopped.
To make up for the gas deficiency, the report added, the Turkish BOTAS Company has recourse to Russia for gas supply.
