QAMISHLU, — People’s Defence Units (YPG) as the military front of West Kurdistan, has established its second brigade in the major Kurdish city of Qamishlu.
To defend the Kurdish people in West Kurdistan occupied by the Syrian regime, YPG has suffered sacrifices and within the framework of self-defence it has endeavoured to preserve the Kurds from the existential threats.
Following the formation of its first brigade in Efrin, today it sets up its second brigade in Qamishlu city, the Kurdish regional capital in West Kurdistan.
The second brigade titled as “martyr Sariya” was opened in a ceremony in which a number of high ranking of YPH along with the family of the martyr were present.
