There is not Kurdish issue in Turkey, said Turkish interior minister

ANKARA, Turkey, — “There is no Kurdish problem in our country today. There is instead a problem of terror against which our fight will continue until there is no single terrorist left in our country,” said Turkish Interior Minister Idris Naim Şahin.

Denial of Kurdish question in Turkey comes amid the escalation of military confrontations with the Kurdish guerrillas since last year when the PKK called off it unilateral ceasefire.

Reflecting their hard-core policy of handing of the Kurdish issue, Naim Sahin also said they were giving effort to resolve and handle the “terror problem” with reference to all economic, social, political, cultural and international aspects.

Interior Minister Şahin underlined that ongoing military operations will continue until all armed “terrorists” are killed.
