MEHABAD, — Death sentences handed down on Kurdish political activists seems to take on a new dimension. Another activist was sentenced to death for his “enmity with God”, a second execution verdict in the few days.
Mehabad Revolution Court sentenced a Kurdish political activist to death for his alleged involvement in one of the Kurdish political groups, an involvement regarded as “enmity with God” by the Iranian theocratic regime.
Mensur Arwend a resident of Mehabad city in East Kurdistan was sentenced to death by the city’s Revolution Court, Mukrian News Agency affirmed.
It should be noted that another Kurdish activist, Saman Nesim, from Meriwan city was sentenced to death on the charge of “enmity with God”.
