Meriwan forests at fire flames

atash-mariwanMERIWAN, — The Meriwan forests are burning in fire flames and many hectares of lands have been ravaged so far.

According to local sources in East of Kurdistan, the forests around villages of Sewllawa and Berqrow are now burning in fire.

Although considerable balk of lands have been devastated, not a single attempt is made by the Iranian regime to distinguish the conflagration. Most of attempts are made by the green organisation named as Encumeni Sewzi Chia (Green Assembly of Mountains) and the local people.

Political analysts believe that these forests are set in fire deliberately by the Iranian Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) with the aim of depriving the Kurdish guerrillas of the natural shelters.
