Iraq wants control South Kurdistan air movements

slimanyfrokaBAGHDAD, — Iraqi government does everything to minimise the freedom of south Kurdistan people and reduce their administrative powers. After halting oil deals by foreign companies, the Iraqi government now wants to control and monitor airlines in Kurdistan.

Chief executive of Sulemani city airport Tahir Abdullah announced that, Iraqi government placed high pressure on Kurdistan airlines and wants to control the sector.

NRT quoted Abdullah as saying;” the Iraqi airline law and regulation is old as it is the remnant of the previous regime and does function for Iraq and Kurdistan now. The government wants to use these regulations to control our air movement. Iraq wants to know how many planes coming to the region and who they carry particularly the diplomatic delegations”.
