More Kurds arrested in Iran

EAST KURDISTAN, — Three Kurdish political activists held in Urmiye prison who have been on hunger strike were transferred to solitary confinement. In the meantime three people were arrested in Pesubi of Xane city.

Three Kurdish political prisoners named as Kohzad Yasinzade, Rehman Yasinzade and Qurban Newrozi held in Urmiye prison launched a hunger strike to protest against depravation of right to family visit.

In reaction to such a move by these detainees, the prison officials of Urmiye detention transferred them to solitary confinement.

According to Mukrian News Agency, the prison officials have stripped the prisoners off their right to family visit. Such a denial has prompted protestation on the side of numbers of prisoners.

In the meantime it was reported that the Iranian security forces had raided the village of Pesubi in Xane city arresting three people named as Shepol Yosifi, Shwane Yosifi and Mohammed Hewtewane, on the charge of working with one of the political parties.
