BAGHDAD, — The official spokes man for Iraqi government Eli Debax said “Maliki’s meeting in Kerkuk was a political message for all as Kerkuk is not a Kurdish city,” KNN reported.
Debax announced that Iraq’s Council of ministers meeting in Kerkuk city was a political message to confirm that the city is Iraq’s, not a Kurdish one. He ordered that it is necessary to bring it under Baghdad administration.
He pointed out that Kerkuk is part of Iraq preventing even mentioning it as a Kurdish city.
