EFRIN, West Kurdistan, — Nearly 200 thousand Kurds participated in a ceremony held to bury three Kurds killed by Syrian security forces in Efrin.
All ages including children, young and old participated in the ceremony on Saturday 12 May and paid tribute to the victims, local sources said.
The ritual was organised by PYD (Democratic Union Party) in which placards of Kurdistan Communities Unions (KCK) along with the postures of Kurdish national leader Abdullah Ocalan were displayed.
In the burial Xerib Heso a member of PYD made a speech in which he strongly condemned the killing of three Kurds, amid people chanting of “martyrs will never die”.
