STOCKHOLM, Sweden, — Swedish Foreign Minister Carl Bildt stated in the comments he made to the press that Turkey should resume talks with the PKK to find a solution to the Kurdish question.
Bildt also added that Imrali island where Kurdish national leader Abdullah Ocalan has been detained since 1999 is nothing different from the USA Guantanamo Base.
The Swedish Foreign Minister also raised its concern about the situation of over 100 journalists held in Turkish prisons.
