SERDESHT, — Although Kurdish people pursue their legitimate rights in a democratic way the Islamic Regime of Iran is bent on its policy of denying Kurds.
Two Kurdish political activists from Nelas village of Serdesht city were sentenced to death by Mehabad Revolution Court.
Sirwan Nejewi and Braym Isapur who were arrested on 5 July 2011 by the Security Forces of Serdesht were sentenced to death by Mehabad Revolution Court—branch three.
Both of these political activists were charged with Moharabe—enmity with God—for their involvement with one of the Kurdish political parties.
These activists had been held incommunicado in Mehabad city prison but transferred to Urmiye detention recently.
Consequently, the number of Kurdish political activists sentenced to death is increased to 15 whose names are as follow:
