SEQIZ, — Sherko Mearfi a Kurdish political prisoner on death row has been on hunger strike, for the last fifteen days, he launched in protest to his suspending and unknown fate.
According to our local correspondents Sherko has rejected the prison officials’ demands to end his hunger strike which entered its fifteen day today.
It is reported that an officer from prison visited Sherko asking him to end his strike, but Sherko told him unless his demands are not met he will continue his campaign.
Sherko Mearfi was arrested three years ago and accused on Moharebe, enmity with God, based on which he was sentenced to death.
