Hunger strike in Strasbourg ended in 52nd day

strasbourg_52STRUSBURG, France, — The Kurdish hunger strikers who have been on the fast for the last 52 days ended their campaign today.

The indefinite hunger strike of fifteen Kurdish political activists in French city of Strasbourg was ended today with a press statement.

The strike was staged on 1st March under the slogan of “Freedom for Ocalan, Status for Kurdish people;” and ended today in its 52nd day.

The striker addressed to European Constitutions, CPT and the EU in particular, calling the institutions to intervene in the deadlock of the Kurdish problem leading it to a peaceful and democratic solution.
