ARAN, Iran, – the death sentence still continues to be one of the main charges for many offences. According to the Iranian formal media, one has been executed in the city of Aran, yesterday 4th April.
Ali Babaie, the commander of Iranian armed forces in Aran and Bidgol declared his charge of the executed person as drug dealing, but he did not mention the name of the person.
Including this case, since the beginning of 2012, 70 people have been executed in Iran.
