EAST KURDISTAN, — Kurdish political prisoners are informed that they are not permitted to visit their families neither inside nor outside the prison during the New Year, Newroz.
According to the Iranian prison law, prisoners are allowed to visit their families outside the prison for several days during the national holidays such as New Year. However, most prisons in the Kurdish areas notified that the political prisoners should not get permission to visit their families amid the new ear celebration.
