MINAB, Iran, — Two Kurdish political prisoners held in Minab prison located in Hormozgan province are experiencing extremely awful conditions.
According to our local correspondents the situation of the political prisoners named as Eli Muradi and Efshin Sohrabzade are reported dreadful as they are held in appalling circumstances.
It is being reported that the life of Mr Muradi is at risk as he is suffering from heart diseases and had a heart operation, conducted few days ago. Although Mr Muradi needs to be treated by specialists, he is not allowed to be seen by the doctors.
Mr Muradi was arrested by the Iranian Intelligent Service 30 years ago on the ground of working with one of the Kurdish political parties. He has been jailed ever since then.
Mr Sohrabi from Hewraman was captured with the same charge and sentenced to 25 years imprisonment. He is suffering from diabetes and heart problems.
