SINE, — The fate of Peyman Selewati a Kurdish detainee who has been held in Sine prison for the last five months still remains unknown, Kurdpa reports.
According to Kurdistan Press Agency Mr Selewati was arrested on 16 October 2011. He was accused of making “propaganda against the regime and cooperation with the opposition groups”.
His fate remains unknown since his capture. He had been kept in a solitary confinement in the Office of Intelligent Service for a month and then transferred to Sine Central Prison.
The similar source reported the arrest of Eli Ghefari who resides in Shwesha village located at the suburb of Sine. No reason for his arrest is being announced yet and his family are not informed of his whereabouts.
