BRUSSELS, — A conference will be held in the European Parliament on 8th March to commemorate the Helebce Genocide and the Enfal Campaign in which 182000 civilian Kurds were killed by the former Iraqi government.
The conference is organised by the Kurdistan National Congress (KNK) and the GUE/NGL Group in the European Parliament in cooperation with European Parliament – Kurds Friendship Group, Kurdish Institute of Brussels, The Confederation of Kurdish Association in Europe (KONKURD), Helebce Genocide and the Enfal campaigns.
The conference will take place on Thursday 8th of March, in Room ASP 1E2, 09h30-13h00 and Room ASP 5G2, 15h00 – 18h30 at the European Parliament – Rue Wiertz 60 – 1047 Brussels.
