RASHT, – The medieval style of punishment by execution is relentlessly carried out in Iran. Two people were executed in Lakan Prison in the city of Rasht.
According to the Iranian human right activists’ report, two people were executed in Rasht last week on 28th January.
Ayoub Kalantery and Mohammad Reza Sharifi, 28 and 40 year-old respectively, were hanged far from the Medias’ eyes. Their execution was reported yesterday by the human right activists.
Since the approving of the European sanctions on Iran, the executions are carried out secretly, not even published in the state-run media. The public executions are not published either.
