BRUSSELS, — According to a report published by Ararat News the European Police Office (EUROPOL) and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) have not been able provide independent evidences or juridical facts to show the involvement of Kurdish political organizations in the alleged “drug trafficking”.
The only thing the European and American drug experts have done is to identity the route of drug trafficking but they have not been able to provide their own independent and juridical facts proving the involvement of Kurdish organizations in drug trafficking.
In relation to juridical evidences, Patrick Byrne and other high level EU sources told Ararat News that EUROPOL’s reports are not based on EUROPOL’s independent or juridical investigation or any reliable thing from any European court, but they are based on information provided by national police and authorities.
“The allegations for involvement of Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) in drug trade are based on Turkish sources…. We ask them several times for more details and concrete facts than short reports, but EUROPOL and DEA don’t have any juridical reports or own investigations to prove with concrete facts these allegations,” EU diplomat said.
