SIRNAK, — Local sources are reporting about the intimidation and harassment of the survivors of Roboski Massacre, in which 35 civilian were killed.
Three survivors of the massacre were summoned on Sunday by military officers who wanted to question them over their smuggling activities.
The government tried to cover up the massacre by saying it was a “mistake”, but evidences from the survivors as well as the fact that no investigation has yet been launched into the massacre prove that things are different.
According to the evidences, the massacre sport was a route regularly used by the villagers to go into Iraq to buy mainly sugar and fuel to sell. The army was very well of it.
The three survivors, Davut Encu, Salih Encu and Hacı Encu told the Taraf daily on Monday that military officers had called them for questioning over allegations of the “violation of passport laws,” “crossing a border illegally” and “bringing goods into the country illegally.”
