Pressure on political prisoners continue unabatedly

EAST KURDISTAN, — Pressure on Kurdish political prisoners are constantly continued by the Iranian prison officers, local sources reported.

Several Kurdish political prisoners, named as Hebibulla Gulperipur, Ahmed Temori, Cehangir Badozadeh, Ali Ahmed Soleman, Mustefa Ahmed Ali, and Usef Kake Memei, were taken to solitary containment in Urmiye’s prison for more than 8 days within known reasons.

All of these prisoners have been charged with very high sentences on the grounds of working with one of the Kurdish political parties.

Mr Gulperipur is sentenced to death, Mr Badozade with 30 years, Mr Temori with 15 years, Mr Ahmed Ali with 10 years, Mr Kake Memei with 9 and Mr Ahmed Soleman with 5 years imprisonment.

Their families alleged that they have been to the office of the prison many times; however, they have not been given any information regarding the situation of their children.

According to Mukrian News Agency pressures on Kurdish political prisoners has intensively increased in Sine’s prison. Their contacts with other prisoners and outside of prison have been prohibited by the prison officials since last Wednesday7th September.
