ILAM, East of Kurdistan, — This is more than 4 years that the Iranian publication institutions do not give permission to a Kurdish book to be published in Kurdish langue, Koordpa News Agency reported.
The book is a poetry manuscript from a Kurdish poet from the city of Ilam named Weli Mohemmed Emini. The book’s poems were posthumously collected by the cultural activists after the death of the writer.
Yasir Senayi, one of these activists who help collecting the poetries of Emini, has been trying to get the permission for publishing them since 2007. However, he has not been successful and his request continuously turned down by the Iranian Cultural Institutions due to the reason that the book is in Kurdish language.
Emini, the poet, was continuously arrested while in life due to his national poems related to Kurdistan.
